Implementation of Electronic Waste Manifest & Waste Tracking Software
ARC Resources Ltd. has partnered with Galatea Technologies Inc. to implement Waste Coordinator ™, a fully electronic waste management solution. The transition to this solution ensures regulatory compliance while providing several gains of efficiency for all parties of the process.
Waste Coordinator ™ will digitize the waste handling processes for the management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste shipments (including DOW (Dangerous Oilfield Waste), non-DOW and recycled materials); while meeting the requirements of federal and provincial regulations for the Transportation of Dangerous Goods. TDG requirements are supported by providing digitized information that supports and informs carrier transcribed TDG paper truck tickets.
Are you a CARRIER?
Carriers: Drivers will receive the waste tracking document and supporting materials via text message. This will require them to have a cellular phone capable of receiving an SMS and a web browser with internet access.
Examples of Carrier Benefits
- Waste tracking documents will include complete information and improved characterization & classification of the waste. This information will be used to populate the truck ticket ensuring TDG compliance.
- Accurate tracking documents will accompany shipments.

Are you a RECEIVER?
Receiver: Receivers will receive the waste tracking document and supporting materials via email as soon as the document is created, providing clarity on incoming loads
Receivers will complete the electronic tracking document. This will eliminate the regulatory burden of returning this paperwork to the Operator.

- Receivers will receive the waste tracking documents prior to the carrier arriving at the waste facility.
