Waste Coordinator ™, is a waste management solution that digitalizes the waste handling processes for the management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste shipments (including DOW (Dangerous Oilfield Waste), non-DOW and recycled materials); while meeting the requirements of federal and provincial regulations for the Transportation of Dangerous Goods.

TDG requirements are supported by providing digitized information that supports and informs carrier transcribed TDG compliant paper truck tickets.  The transition to this solution ensures regulatory compliance while providing several gains of efficiency for all parties involved in the process.

Are you a WASTE GENERATOR?

Waste Generators will create shipping documents directly on your mobile or web browser from a QR code or URL.

  • Drivers will receive the waste tracking document and supporting materials via text message.  This will require them to have a cellular phone capable of receiving an SMS and a web browser with internet access.

  • Drivers will use the information provided in the digital document to fill out their paper truck tickets, ensuring Transport Canada TDG compliance.

  • Receivers will receive the waste tracking document and supporting materials via email as soon as the document is created, providing clarity on incoming loads

  • Supporting materials are attached to the tracking document.  Supporting materials may include manifests, shipping documents, shipping equivalency permits/certificates, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and Waste Analysis.

  • No apps or downloads are required.

Examples of Waste Generator Benefits

  • Increase ease of completing waste tracking documents.

  • Streamline document formats for non-dangerous oilfield waste (non-hazardous) data collection.

  • Reduce time between disposal and amalgamated waste data availability.

  • Opportunity for analysis of datasets for optimization.

For the GENERATOR

Are you a RECIEVER?

Receivers will obtain the tracking document and supporting materials via email as soon as the document is created by the generator, providing clarity on incoming loads.

  • All current and historical tracking documents are available in a web portal which can be accessed directly through email links.

  • Receivers will complete their portion of the electronic tracking document if required.  This will eliminate the regulatory burden of returning paper documentation back to the waste generator.

  • Supporting materials provided may include manifests, shipping documents, shipping equivalency permits/certificates, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and Waste Analysis.

Examples of Receiver Benefits

  • Receivers can view the tracking document prior to the carrier arriving at their facility.

  • Accurate tracking documents will accompany all shipments.

  • The electronic completion of tracking documents will meet regulatory timeline obligations.

  • There is no requirement to mail paper manifests back to the generator, or in some cases the regulator.

For the RECEIVER

Are you a CARRIER?

Carriers will receive the waste manifest via text message.  This will require the driver to have a cellular phone capable of receiving an SMS and a web browser with internet access.

  • Supporting materials provided may include manifests, shipping documents, shipping equivalency permits/certificates, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and Waste Analysis.

  • Once viewed the documents are available in a web browser as a PDF file.  The file can be downloaded or, when left open in the web browser, the documents will continue to be available in areas that have no cellular service or Wi-Fi available.

  • Drivers will use the information provided in the digital document to fill out their paper truck ticker, ensuring Transport Canada TDG compliance.

    • This includes writing the digital tracking document reference number on the truck ticket.

  • Drivers will accept and certify their load through digital confirmation.

Examples of Carrier Benefits

  • Waste tracking documents will include complete information and improved characterization and classification of the waste. This information is used to populate the paper truck ticket ensuring TDG compliance.

  • Accurate tracking documents will accompany shipments.

  • Reduced handoff of paper to the receiver.

  • Reduced requests for support in reconciling annual regulatory compliance.
