Receivers will obtain the tracking document and supporting materials via email as soon as the document is created by the generator, providing clarity on incoming loads.

All current and historical tracking documents are available in a web portal which can be accessed directly through email links.

Receivers will complete their portion of the electronic tracking document if required. This will eliminate the regulatory burden of returning paper documentation back to the waste generator.

Carriers will receive the waste manifest via text message. This will require the driver to have a cellular phone capable of receiving an SMS and a web browser with internet access.

Supporting materials provided may include manifests, shipping documents, shipping equivalency permits/certificates, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and Waste Analysis.

Once viewed the documents are available in a web browser as a PDF file. The file can be downloaded or, when left open in the web browser, the documents will continue to be available in areas that have no cellular service or Wi-Fi available.

Drivers will use the information provided in the digital document to fill out their paper truck ticker, ensuring Transport Canada TDG compliance.

This includes writing the digital tracking document reference number on the truck ticket.
